How Payaa Labs collects, uses, and protects your personal data.
This Privacy Policy explains how Payaa Labs ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit davidwsc.work (the "Site") or contact us through it. We handle personal data in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit the contact form, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, and the message you send us. You choose what to include in your message, so please avoid sending sensitive personal data you don't want us to hold.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site or submit the form, our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) processes technical data needed to deliver and secure the Site, including:
- your IP address;
- your browser type and user-agent string;
- the page that referred you to us;
- your browser's language setting (Accept-Language); and
- approximate location (country, region, city) and network information (such as your network operator / ASN) derived from your IP address.
We use your IP address to apply rate limits that protect the form from abuse. We store your language-toggle choice (English or 中文) in your browser's local storage on your own device; this stays on your device and is not sent to us.
Cookies and tracking
We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics that track you across other websites. The only data stored in your browser is the language preference described above.
How we use your information
- to respond to your enquiry and discuss potential work;
- to provide, maintain, and secure the Site;
- to prevent abuse, spam, and fraud; and
- to comply with our legal obligations.
We collect only what we need for these purposes, and we do not use your information for automated decisions that produce legal effects.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- service providers who help us run the Site, such as Cloudflare (hosting, storage, and security), who process data on our behalf; and
- authorities or third parties where we are required to do so by law.
International transfers
Cloudflare operates a global network, so technical data and form submissions may be processed on servers located outside Hong Kong. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your data continues to be protected.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data only for as long as needed to respond to you and to keep reasonable business records, after which it is deleted. You can ask us to delete your data sooner (see below).
Security
We use HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit, rate limiting, and access controls to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard the information we hold.
Your rights
Under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, you have the right to request access to, and correction of, the personal data we hold about you, and to ask us to stop using it. To make a request, email us at contact@davidwsc.work. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

The Site may link to third-party websites and tools. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; please review their policies separately.
Children
The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
